TRAINING
To ensure the safety of our clients and their employees as well
as ensure that you meet OH&S/CSA regulations,
High River Rentals offers the following
full Operator Certification courses:
AWP (Aerial Work Platforms —
Including Scissor and Boom Lift.)
Included is a classroom theory and on-machine hands-on session. Class time concentrates on hazard assessment and ANSI regulations. During hands-on, emphasis is given to operating safely and managing hazards.
Telehandler (Reach Forklift)
Telehandler training spends a significant amount of time in class concentrating on the “Stability Triangle”. Loads are handled with emphasis on load charts and maximum capacity during the hands-on portion.
Forklift (Straight Mast)
Straight-Mast forklift classroom training is focused on load handling/positioning as well as navigating with rear steering. During the hands-on, loads are handled with emphasis on delicate handling in tight areas.
- All High River Rentals courses take approximately 5-6 hours to complete.
- Volume discounts are available when booking five students or more.
- Class size is limited as are class dates.
- Some Saturday courses are scheduled throughout the year.
- High River Rentals has a classroom facility and all required equipment at its head office in High River, Alberta.
- On-site training is also available at an additional charge.
